Once I have a question / problem as you, I read in the manual (also known as "Manual").
It's amazing how much I still learn from it.
If this does not help, please contact the manufacturer's website. They have descriptions and specifications of the devices, often have user forums and decent manufacturer, you can Manuals in electronic format.
99% of the time is not the case.
Hopefully your laptop's manual is for you to say exactly how. You need to download Mai (new) driver / software for the webcam, you can do.
