Chemo Wigs Will Wearing A Wig While Growing Hair After Chemo Stunt My Hair Growth?

Will wearing a wig while growing hair after chemo stunt my hair growth? - chemo wigs

Before the chemotherapy, my hair was very long. I lost everything (and I mean Uncle Fester - Ugh!) I have a wig since November 2007 and grew my hair again since April 2008. I have the wig 8 hours per day every working day, 5 days per week. I wonder if a wig, regularly, as this is my hair grow again. I want to go with 20 "long or longer than before, and that day is just over 3" long. I do not fear growing due to regular use wigs, but there is no way I can go public with the court, after chemotherapy unruly hair that I have today. Am I paranoid, or is that the growth of my fears of "Hair stunted" because I wear a wig? It seems that baseball players lose their hair, wear hats every day, then I'm afraid that will never be my long hair. HELP. Perhaps a professional designer or prior chemotherapy patients this can affect someone? undergoing chemotherapy wig former owner now has beautiful, long hair? Thanks for the help you can provide.

My cousin has a chemo-therapy ... and she lost all her hair.
He was wearing a wig ... But it was time to time. Viewed at home.
Now recovers ... and the hair grows back normally.
In addition to the area where the operation takes a little longer.

I'm sure it will bear no impact on the growth of hair if you have a wig.
Good luck and God bless!

We regret what happened. My mother went through radiation and chemotherapy and hair loss. She wore a wig and not affect your hair growth. Make sure that you are taking care to grow around them.

Good luck! :)

But I'm glad that you are well. :)
But I do not think it affects hair growth.
To eat only protein and lots of healthy food and should be good!

They are being very brave to a survivor's pension.

I believe it is justified to be affected, as they grow have been through so much and worry too much, but I think the hair back more beautiful than ever before. The mother of my friend, who is from breast cancer and her hair went darker and thicker now. The style of another friend said she would thrive, and said she shaved her hair, if they do not.

I have some sites that discuss the growth of new hair after chemotherapy. Good luck and God bless.
